Ashley was chosen to play the part as Jessica Finch as part of the Judy Moody Family Comedy, Not Bummer Summer. Ashley was recognized further when she was she was cast in the characters of a variety of bears in the award-winning animated adventure comedy Ernest & Celestine featuring Forest Whitaker Lambert Wilson Pauline Brunner. It won fourteen awards from 29 nominations which included an Oscar.
